A key role of the Chamber is to support the development of a strong workforce for the employers in our community. The Chamber hosts opportunities such as Lunch and Learns, Seminars and Forums for member organizations to participate. Content for these events is solicited from member surveys, round-tables and Chamber Chats to ensure the workforce need is met for the local economy.
To facilitate accessible workforce training for all employees, the Chamber has partnered with Coggno to make on-line training accessible. Employers can choose from over 1,000 courses in an assortment of topics like HR, Finance, Technology, Business, Programming, Security for their employees to learn without leaving the job. Follow this link for more information about Coggno, a marketplace for training courses.
Not only this, the courses are self paced, on demand, many with certification, and are distributed online to each employees’ computer via a free Learning Management System where you can track and view reporting. Can’t find a course, let us know. And if you have any questions feel free to check our FAQ section.
