NETWORKING & BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS!

Chamber members are invited to monthly networking events to meet new business contacts and learn about what's going on in the community.  Admission to virtually all events is included with membership dues.

               hosted at the City of Brenham All Sports Building (at Hohlt Park)
May 14 - "Wake Up, Washington County!" networking breakfast hosted by the
          Ant Street Inn in Downtown Brenham and Edward Jones Investments-Brice Milliorn
May 28 - "Business After Hours" hosted by Blinn College Foundation
June 13 - "Business After Hours" hosted by South Texas Tack
July - "Business After Hours" date TBA, hosted by Appel Ford
August - "Wake Up, Washington County!" networking breakfast, sponsorship available
August - "Business After Hours" date TBA, hosted by Leftovers Antiques

October - "Business After Hours" date TBA, annual "Paint the Town Pink" event to promote
               Breast Cancer Awareness, hosted by Brenham Clinic

"TAILGATE 2013"  The Chamber's One Annual Fundraiser

Always one of the best parties of the year in Washington County!  "TAILGATE 2013" is the one annual fundraiser of the Chamber of Commerce, and proceeds go towards programs and projects that help better the community and local economy.   View a slideshow from "Tailgate 2012" below. 

Thursday, August 29, is the date for "TAILGATE 2013."  The Champion Sponsorship opportunity is available, along with Touch Down and Field Goal sponsorships.  Details will be mailed to all members in June.  Please feel free to call us prior to that for more information!  (Click here to read about the 2012 sponsorship opportunities to get an idea of how you can get involved.)

CHAMBER & EDF ANNUAL BANQUET

An elegant banquet is held each year to recognize the volunteer efforts of the Chamber and EDF Board of Directors and the Blue Blazers.  A major highlight of the evening is the announcement of the Man & Woman of the Year awards.  (Click here to view a list of Past Recipients.)

This year's Annual Banquet was held on January 29, 2013.  The featured speaker was Texas Agriculture Commissioner Todd Staples, with a special appearance by U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul.  (See more details in the Newsletter Archive).
