Attn: Tourism Partners

It's time to sign up for the 2008 Visitor's Guide. Information packets were mailed to all "tourism partner" businesses the end of June, and materials are due on August 1 from those who want to be included in this printed brochure.

Don't miss this great opportunity to promote your attraction, festival or service business in the 170,000 guides to be printed next year! If you are interested, but did not receive this important information, please call Lu Hollander at the Chamber at (979) 836-3695.

"And the nominees are..."

As a Chamber member, you are invited to join in the process to nominate future board members. The Chamber needs 7 new board members each year to fill a three-year term. Think of a local business person you know who fits this description:

- An active member of the business community and the Chamber
- dedicated to the quality of life in Washington County
- a decision maker in his or her field
- someone interested in serving as a volunteer
- a person with vision; a leader
- someone with good communication skills
- able to attend monthly board meetings, held the 3rd Wednesday of the month at noon

Please submit nominations to the Chamber office in writing from now until July 31, 2007. You can send them by mail, fax or email. Thank you!
