WASHINGTON COUNTY FORUM featuring John Sharp Tuesday, July 25 11:30am -1pm Hear a first-hand report from the Chairman of the Texas Tax Reform Commission and former State of Texas Comptroller. The Chamber will bring John Sharp to Brenham on Friday, July 25, at the Washington County Fairgrounds Events Center. Rep. Lois Kolkhorst will emcee. The Forum is from 11:30am - 1pm. Tickets are $15 each or $150 for a table of eight. This includes a full buffet lunch and Blue Bell ice cream for dessert. Call by Friday, July 21 to make reservations. --------------------------------------------------------
Leadership Washington County This prestigious program is designed to seek out the most promising current and future leaders from all segments of our community in order to educate, train and motivate them to be effective leaders. Participants are exposed to educational sessions covering many aspects of the community and region.
The program involves a time commitment of one day a month for nine months and tuition of $550. This covers all tours, meals, group travel, printed materials, a professional portfolio/notebook and a logo imprinted shirt.
